It's got an awesome mountain vibe and is the perfect base for all our crazy adventures in the Tarentaise Valley. The ski resorts of La Plagne and Les Arcs are so easy to get to from here, and there's even a free-to-join loyalty program that hooks you up with all kinds of cool perks. Plus, there's a sick point where you can hop on a jet ski or shred some gnar on a mountain bike. It's always an epic time at La Tourmaline!
Yo, the only thing that would make this place even more awesome is if they had a banging party scene for us young folks. We had a blast exploring the area during the day, but it would be killer to come back to the hotel and keep the party going with some sick music and a lively atmosphere.

The food was substantial and good quality, both breakfast and dinner.
The room overlooked the neighbours and hence there was no privacy. Net curtains would be appreciated. The furnishings were very basic.

The location was so lit, with sick spots for water activities like pedal boating and jet skiing nearby. The mountain biking was fire, exploring the sick mountains and spotting mad animals. Plus, La Plagne and Les Arcs ski resorts were wicked easy to reach. And get this, they had a dope loyalty program that saved mad money and supported the local scene. Perfect for living our adventures in the Tarentaise Valley!
Only thing that could've been better was if they had a lit club or party scene for us youngins. But overall, Hotel La Tourmaline was the bomb and we had the best time ever!

Nicely updated hotel.x Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.
Not sure if its a 2 or 3 star. Room was very warm though and road noise high. They need to buy new towels.

Found a pool to cool down on Easter, the view was okay, and the hotel was close to my desired location.
Room was dated, too small, dark and the bathroom needed updating. The staff was not very welcoming and service was slow at times.

Friendly staff, good location.
Lots of flies in the restaurant, food at the breakfast buffet not covered with nets...

I had a great experience at Restaurant La Tourmaline. The rooms were tidy and the restaurant on site was okay. The hotel had a lot of character and was beautifully designed. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent facilities, such as the hot tub, sauna, and pool. The alpine charm in the room and common areas was delightful. The restaurant served delicious country food grilled over an open fire at a reasonable cost. The staff and owners were very hospitable and even offered to make us breakfast to go for our early departure. This hotel is a great option for a short stay between skiing and your next destination, being conveniently located only a 10-minute walk from the Aime train station.
Hard to think of anything. 😊

The staff are so friendly and helpful - they just couldn't do enough for us. Each day they helped us get our ski passes and then in the evening recommended great wine! The food was lovely and the hotel has an amazing relaxed and warm feel. A perfect place for a long weekend!

Very convienient for stop off after full days skiing. Friendly staff. Effiecient wifi. Good quality food.
Breakfast seemed expensive especially for the children. Second room very small when extra bed added but all comfortable. Did see any of the spa facilities/ swimming pool but I assume that they were there somewhere!

We appreciated the convenient location of this hotel, just off the main road and close to several ski resorts, which made it a good stop-over spot for us. The rooms were comfortable and tidy, with great views of the mountains. We also enjoyed having a restaurant on site, serving delicious meat and seafood dishes cooked over a wood fire.
This hotel seemed to be quite understaffed during our stay. We noticed that the staff members were quite stressed, as they were trying to manage the bar, reception, and restaurant by themselves.

Clean rooms, alpine decor, small pool and sauna, on-site car park, great facilities.
